So I’m Super Stoked to announce that my Art and Medicine Retreat in the jungle of Peru is still a go for the end of this month! The Peruvian border recently opened up and I bought my flights to Tarapoto last week! This will be the 5th year we offer our “Healing Visions” retreat at @katari.ayahuasca.center and I think it is more needed that ever. Half the students have had to postpone their attendance, so there are still spots for you to join us! I myself will arrive there 10 days before the retreat, to be alone in nature and do a “Master Plant Dieta”. This is part of my shamanic training before I take the role of host and art teacher to our guests from around the world. Heads up on my next Painting Workshops happening this spring at @chapelofsacredmirrors in upstate New York!! First is my skateboard painting workshop between the 29th and 31st of May, where I also focus a lot on the business side of the art path. And then on June 1st I teach my Spray Painting workshop. Last night was the first Ceremony of our retreat. There was hard work done, but also many rewards and indescribable beauty! A painting or even the most ambitious psychedelic animation could never come close to all of the ever-expanding fractal alien multiverses that Ayahuasca reveals inside myself. She schools me with reflections of my resistances/blockages and washes me a bit closer to my liberated potential. I was sitting in between my parents who drank the mystic brew for the first time. My doctor @herbert_quinteros started them with a tiny dose, but still they began their descontruction work, so I was holding space for them and helping a bit with their purge, through me. In the end, they are part of me, so their liberation will be part of mine too. The music that Herbert and his wife @acaciajadeyoga played was potent as always and we also had a couple of super good musicians/shamans from the Brazilian “Yawanawa” tribe take us on a deep vibrational ride/scrub! Once it was over, I just sat with my new student friends talking about all the reasons to be grateful/happy and how to spread that vibe in our world, so that the sickness in humanity can be healed from inside of each of our hearts. Super Stoked that we received a very nice group of spiritual artists out here at @Katari.ayahuasca.Center in the Peruvian rainforest (Tarapoto)! My “Healing Visions” retreat started yesterday and this time it will last 2 weeks (as to go along the Peruvian quarantine rules). We already did some good work this morning with a “Kambo” ceremony (to detoxify and boost of immune system) and later we will do a “Temascal” sweat lodge.
