I keep thinking about how Jake would make the impossible possible, if Chris asked him to. He would drag himself out of a grave. He would turn the world upside down, he would set it on fire. He would leave the BSAA, his entire life since he was eighteen years old - and does, during Village - solely on Chris' word.
He's so unbelievably devoted to Chris, and Chris doesn't know what to do with that, because Chris knows he's just a man, and Jake sees him as half a god.
