Over the weekend, I received a touching message from a friend & fellow artist @kamelbuddy. Brianne is a magnificently layered performer, whom I came to know while #directing & #choreographing the Maine Professional Premier of “Matilda” alongside my #CreativePartner @goodearthyoga; at the @penobscottheatrecompany. Her portrayal of “Miss Honey” was so honest and connected, and her voice so beautiful & emotional—I cried during her scenes (even after weeks of rehearsals & tech). The #TheaterCompany—led by the brilliant @zippersgraydon—is a stellar ensemble of artists from the stage crew to the administrators, and everyone in between. They gave our cast a copy of BOTH of my books—I LOVE when artists support artists. Here is the generous note that Brianne sent: “Hello!!
