Punch girls, 100%

While I do like the meme / trend of Sword Ladies in the sense that it represents strong women with weapons, I actually really don’t like Swords that much. 

Swords are cliche, overused, and largely uninteresting. They are the “default” weapon, a clean slate with which no particular traits are often ascribed. There’s some cases when people actually play up on the thematic cues of a sword, say for like, Utena etc. But usually it’s just the “default” blank slate weapon.

I much prefer Pike Girls, or Axe Women, or Bow Ladies. Any other weapon.

And Punch Girls?

You really can’t get more direct and brutal than using your own bare knuckled fists, and pure muscle to stand your ground.

God damn that’s gotta be a hard choice. What is even one without the other? You’re brutal. Savage. CRUEL, even.I guess though, in the most purest form. I think I actually gotta go with Milk Milk, no quotes. By the slimmest of margins, and probably mostly because it defines me more specifically than “Milk” does.

This is really, really hard choice because I do legitimately love Punch Girls, and they are like, second place. But I am very specifically a slut for an Axe and you show me a lesbian amazon hefty a big ol labrys and I’m fuckin SOLD.
