LEMO NACK

This charmingly named snack from Yamazaki is roughly the same size and shape as a real lemon but instead it’s a soft cake covered in some kind of lemon white chocolate coating, the kind that kind of melts into your teeth as you bite in, but not the kind that’s a little too hard and cracks off into a thousand chocolate crumbs that find their way into the crevasses of your shirt and pants where they meld into the clothing fibres while you’re blissfully unaware, doing something totally innocuous like watching youtube videos or complaining about the state of New Zealand politics to a friend, and before you know it you’ve got a brown spot on the crease of your thigh that you try in vain to scrape off. You know the kind. It always leaves a kind of telltale whitish-brown aftermark, at least until the next time you put your jeans through the wash. Anyway the coating of LEMO NACK seems to be engineered to avoid this problem. This in itself is worth applause.
