My first attempt at the Don’t Starve drawing style! I figured Chillcoal would be a good place to start. Man, I frickin love this pairing. They just balance out so well–both their elements and their personalities. As you can tell by some of her comments in the game, Willow is impatient and short-tempered; Walani, the Relaxed, can contain her fire so that Willow never feels unstable, and her pyromania never gets out of control. Walani is calm, but being a surfer, she still needs excitement, for still water gathers algae. A bit of heat can make water bubble and move, and Willow can keep Walani from becoming stagnant. It’s a balance, of course–too much water will smother flames, and too much fire will just make steam–but with their love for each other, they make it work.
