Chase's anger had caused him to kill a Vehicon after he realized that they tried to take Charlie away from him. He never did it before because he had a strict no-killing rule for any case of a Decepticon encounter, but the Vehicon had dared to hurt his chief, and they paid the consequences. The aftermath went a little like this.
