Tessa&Scott and Chiddy
The two best third wheels a couple could ask for, LOL.
When I was talking a bit about Jeff's friendship with Scott and Tessa, I could remember this picture but I couldn't find it. From Japan Stars on Ice, 2014.

Podiums are hard pt2, Chiddy style.
(part 1, Scott Moir style)
Okay but for SOI this is how they'll all be introduced
World Champions: Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir
World Champion: Kaetlyn Osmond
World Champion: Patrick Chan
World Champions: Meagan Duhamel and Eric Radford
And they're all Olympic Gold medalists. Legends only.
It just hit me. Going into the Olympics, Patrick Chan knew that he didn’t have a shot at a solo medal. His program just did not have the quads it needed to put him within fighting distance. He had every reason to not compete, to retire as a reigning silver Olympic medalist, and have that be his legacy.
So why did he come back? Sure, there was love for the sport. But in recent interviews, his focus was on moving on and the next stage of his life.
P Chiddy came back so his team could win a gold medal in the team event. And if that isn’t a sign of a true athlete, a friend, a legend - then I don’t know what is.
