If there's one thing that three-time World champion Patrick Chan is remembered for, it would be his legendary skating skills. Considered as mastery of the craft, Chan’s skating technique, characterized by excellent edgework, has often been cited as "the standard of performance" in the way it blended elegant artistry with technical brilliance, making even a simple, smooth glide on the ice look as breathtaking as an exhilarating quadruple jump.
As a testament to his outstanding ability, Chan established a storied 15-year career, wherein he became the 2014 Olympic silver medalist, a two-time Grand Prix Final champion, a three-time Four Continents champion, and a 10-time Canadian national champion. Having also set seven world records, Chan is now popularly regarded as one of the greatest Canadian male figure skaters of all time.

I don’t have hiring Patrick Chan money, but I do have iMovie and a dream
as a figure skating fan, i’m fascinated by shane hollander having a friend/training mate who competed for canada in figure skating at the olympics. i know that they cast dylan moskovitch (who is white) as said friend, but in my head it’s patrick chan—the canadian who won silver in sochi and was also canadian champion a zmillion times and a repeat world champion and grand prix final champion. (olympic gold in men’s singles is the only major figure skating achievement that patrick chan didn’t manage at the senior level because an upstart 19-year-old named yuzuru hanyu showed up at juuuust the wrong time.)
patrick chan who is also asian canadian but had a reputation for arrogance/cockiness not unlike ilya. patrick chan who skated programs to fucking kansas and the beatles and, ugh, michael bolton. patrick chan who plays golf and works in “wealth management” and is married (to a woman) with kids now.
