Pelätyt & Palvotut - Jan 9th to Feb 3rd at Galleria 2

Our dragon themed group exhibition opens soon! This is the second exhibition in the series but the first time we are bringing the original artworks to the public.

Pelätyt & Palvotut (Feared & Worshipped) came to be when a group of artists got excited about the idea of making a group exhibition themed around the Year of the Dragon.

Due to gallery application times being very long most of our shows are happening in 2025 but that just means we can bring you a ton of cool dragon themed artwork.

We have so many different artworks to show, from paintings to sculptures to art dolls. It's going to be amazing seeing everything together!

The gallery show opening is on January the 9th in Galleria 2, Pirkkala, Finland, and you can enjoy the exhibition for free until February the 3rd.

The next edition will be held in Tampere in March but more on that later.

I started the school year with the goal of chronicling my adventure building community via creativity, both online and off. All of my efforts were centered around decentralizing capitalism and finding joy by rejecting algorithms. I used tumblr and currated my own online experience with my friends who love bdubs. I only used technology to bring me joy. Meanwhile, I enjoyed the finally year of Hampshire College, a nontraditional school where you could create your own education. I studied fandom and community organizing during my time, and it only felt right to finally use what I had learned. I ended up with a weekly mending circle, a close knit family of weed smokers, an appreciation for nature, a successful youtube channel, and I built a community on tumblr for when it came time to leave my school. I am so incredibly lucky to have had my time at Hampshire, aka Tumblr University.

Arch Enemy Arts presents 'Common Waters: One Ocean, Many Voices', a group art benefit exhibition in partnership with Pangeaseed, with art sales in direct benefit of PangeaSeed’s ocean advocacy efforts, and bringing together 60 international new-contemporary artists inspired by the ocean, its ecosystems, and humankind’s impact on the sea, reminding us that no shore or action exists in isolation.
