"Azuha, Azuha!"

The red-haired professor raised an eyebrow at Lady Ruth. From the distance, he could spot that the approaching (overly-excited) brunette professor was dragging a Chick Hat-wearing blonde assassin with her. It would not take a genius to figure that whatever the reasons his fellow professor was looking for him, it had to do with guild recruitment... with him being the Recruitment Officer and all. "Azuha, I picked a wild assassin from the streets! Can we keep him?" Lady Ruth was giving her best puppy-dog-eyes as she clung onto the assassin like how a little girl would clung to her Poring Doll. Meanwhile, Mel and Supportive stood up from the bridge corner, studying their prospective guildmate with interest. "Wild assassin?" Supportive asked, his tone was maintained with casual interest. Although if one knows him well, one would understood that his expression was clearly saying 'Oh dear, what's Ruth up to this time?'. "Is he new?" Beside him, the female high wizard inspected the assassin cross from head-to-toe quickly before grinning shyly at the newcomer. "Hello, I'm Mel! What's yours?" The assassin's expression was a cross between timidity, surprise and awe. "H-Hi, I'm lacto... Oh gawd, is that what I think it is?" .... An assassin. Not even an assassin cross, but an assassin. Azuha sighed and said, "Come here, Ruth." The red-haired professor dragged the brunette professor to the far corner of the bridge, stopping at where the tables and chairs were situated.

"You're inviting an assassin?" Azuha demanded. ("What do you think it is?" Supportive asked with a raised eyebrow.) "Is it against the rules?" Lady Ruth stared at him innocently. "He's pretty strong." ("I've been to Izlude before," lacto's eyes was sparkling brightly. "Aren't you guys the big guild that hung out there? Did you guys moved?") ... Apparently, Lady Ruth did not see the changes he made on the Guild Recruitment Notice. Not that he could blame her, since he often changed whenever he felt like it. Before, he was lenient enough to invite pre-trancendent jobs, but he changed his mind. The Alliances were becoming such a hassle. Warsong needed fresh, strong meat. And, as soon as possible too. ("Yeah, Izlude is under construction. The area's dirty and hard to walk." Mel replied with a sigh, before her eyes sparkled with curiosity and mischief. "So, where are you from?") "Well, I guess it's fine," Dezusa sighed, opting for a diplomatic approach. Perhaps if it were other people, he would have shouted at them... "But next time, only invite transcendent jobs, okay?" ("Port Malaya" was the young assassin's answer.) Understanding dawned upon Lady Ruth. "Because an assassin cross is a better battler?" ("Wow, another member adding towards the Port Malayan count." Supportive shook his head.) "Because we don't want no nabs begging for items and leeches." (Mel sighed. "Maybe because the guild leader is also from Port Malaya.") The brunette professor considered for a moment. Was the assassin one of those 'nabs' Azuha was talking about?? "Nah, lacto won't do that," she turned her head and caught the assassin's eyes. "Will you, lacto?" "Oh, is- Huh? Will I what?" lacto asked, seemingly still dazed from all these happenings. "Beg for items and leeches?" The assassin chuckled, "Nah, I would never do that!" Lady Ruth shifted her attention back to her dissatisfied colleague and grinned. "There, we have his word!" Azuha's clear dissatisfaction was shown on his sulk. The female professor attempted to coax by patting his shoulder. "Aww, c'mon Azuha. I joined Warsong when I was a sage too!" "Besides, if he's indeed the beggar you say, we could always boot him? C'mon, let's go back now!”
