I’m gonna answer this as the mun cause Bones doesn’t really share his musical preferences with me. Though, he likes blues and jazz...

Wow. That’s a killer question, and you’re gonna get a long answer. My favorites in every fandom always have this same quality. The things that attract me, the things I am, and the things I want to be.

Attract me: self-depreciating sarcasm, humility, self-sacrifice, internal conflict/angst, moral dilemmasThings I am: self-doubting, contradictory, pessimistic yet hopefulThings I want to be: inspiring, a good person, a good friend

That was the pattern I had with Hiccup (from my first major fandom, How to Train Your Dragon), the Doctor (mostly Ten), and now Bones McCoy. I guess I end up trying to bring/emphasize the qualities I found in him that I enjoy – the sarcasm, the goodness, the internal contradictions of not knowing what to do or want or love. That’s the big ME in all this, that contradictory variableness. Being two things at once, believing two things at once. It’s what draws me to characters who are both optimistic and pessimistic, inspiring and dejected. Characters who share what I feel so often – glorious heights of I can do this!! to frustrating lows of I’m running out of time.

I like being sarcastic, but I’m so shy about it in real life (that and, well, other reasons), so I can throw my love of wit into my characters. I def bring my vulnerabilities I guess: my lack of confidence, shyness. I like to think I bring my sense of inspiration too. In my interactions online I’ve found a great fulfillment in supporting people and loving them, giving them advice and a place to rant. Maybe it’s the part of my online experience that’s most valuable to me (the friendships), even if sometimes I drain myself so thin among my friends that I end up losing my own energy (it’s caused many a hiatus on my old blog, gosh, I’ve felt so guilty so long… still do sometimes). So… to bring it back to Bones. He’ll have that quality of wisdom too, of being a open soul to whom you can share all your cares and troubles, and who will give you genuine, affirming guidance because he truly cares for you, as a human being, as a valuable person… as detached as he sometimes can be. (Mark that as things I aspire to be, things I am, things I know about De, and things I so think are canon.)

Both? I mean online I have more girl friends but out of the internet I think I have more guy friends. 

6. How do you look right now?

Well, I haven’t changed out of my pjs (t-shirt with Grumpy on it and basketball shorts) my hair is probably a mess cause I didn’t brush it, and I probably look like hell cause besides.

9. Do you wear jeans or sweats more?

Depends on the time of year, but generally jeans cause its what I wear if I leave the house

My favorite jeans, a tank top and a tight fishnet top. It’s an outfit I always feel hella good in.

I did. And like a heathen I ate it. However I did leave a tiny scrap left that I still have.

Probably Adam. For all you uncultured swine, Adam is The Beast.
