He couldn’t resist the blink of confusion on his features then. The mask of utter shock that takes over. He understood that to an extent. It’s not the first time it’s happened. Perhaps all of his life people have been trying to protect him. Camden. Derek. Now, Scott. And each time it’s happened, it still knocks the wind out of him. 

As if somehow, he might not deserve it. 

Because after all, each time he’s lost them one way or another. He’s not sure if he can handle that with Scott. 

Scott of all people. No. He can’t. 

He grips the front of the other’s bleeding shirt. “ No. No more bullets. I fucking hate it here. Let’s get you home. “

I MEAN, like what's not to like? you're capturing her compassion, her speech, and just everything she is in your writing? its one of things i love most about following you on all your blogs is that you do such a phenomenal job no matter what muse your writing? you bring such a uniqueness to each character, you blend the canon with your own hc's and interpretation. it's beautiful to read.

he  really  should’ve  known  better  than  to  think  it  would  be  as  simple  as  just,   leaving.   he’s  never  been  good  at  this ;   give  him  a  small  army  to  wage  war  with,   thugs  to  beat  into  the  concrete   —   each  faced  down  with  every  ounce  of  stubborn  willpower  he  possessed  and  not  an  inch  of  ground  given  up.

but  plant  him  in  the  face  of  earnest  care  and  he’s  knocked  with  little  to  no  grace  from  his  sure  footing.   ( roy  shouldn’t  even  be  out  here,   why  is  he  out  here — ).
