This is that kind of music you can feel in your heart. REAL music. And most of these highly influential soul artists have been sampled heavily in rap hits and it’s always a treat to hear the songs reused and recycled in new songs.

Either this song or All Around You off this album get the credit for most beautiful song I’ve ever heard. This entire album had me breaking down sobbing my first listen and several thousand listens later it still gets to me. Sturgill Simpson is a fucking wizard with expressing emotion. I really don’t even have words for it.
