Oh yeah they absolutely fucking hate that
They are not very fond of artificial lights to begin with but the fact it took the sky from them is something they'll complain about until the end of time
It helps they picked a remote place to live, but not a lot
I can imagine them sitting with Moon on the roof late at night and pointing out whatever parts of constellations they can see (ex: orion's belt) and going on and on about them, specially how different they look. They'd say they would take him to see them properly one day, somewhere not so bright. He just nods because they say they'll take him many places so that's one more. The sky he sees is already pretty, he can't imagine it could be better than this.
I do think they take some comfort on having the moon, though. And the sun. The astronomical ones. That's the one (well, two) thing that never changed and never will change. Well if you ignore how the sun feels brighter and hotter because the ozone layer went to shit. But anyway

is perkeo still terrified of dying or are they desensitized by now? maybe a mix of both?
Depends. The concept of dying gets reaaally blurry when you can't really do it
Is dying getting your head snapped? Is dying diving in and breaking your neck in half? Is dying getting torn and bleeding out? Getting chocked of all air in your lungs? Falling asleep knowing you will wake up?
I think what bothers them most is the situation where it happens, how it happens, and how much it hurts instead of if it happens to begin with
Jumping into the ballpit from up high knowing you'll maybeee just maybe break some bones but heal them real quick? Fun. Decided to do that out of their own will. Dumbass move but kinda funny.
Moon choking the life out of them while under the influence of a mind controlling virus? Not fun. That's a friend hurting them. He isn't even doing that out of his own will. That's mean. Was not supposed to happen. Will make a huge mess.
Snapping their neck back in place to try to get rid of neck pain? Didn't hurt. Sometimes work. Sometimes not. Barely noticed. Still bad decision. Vision went black for like a second. Did that themselves. Does not care. Occasionally a nuisance
Getting stabbed in the guts repeatedly while having to physically fight a coworker in a high stake situation where you could lose all the progress you made in years and have your friend remain sick, putting at risk other people you're responsible for, then bleeding out so badly you're not thinking straight and feeling awful and vulnerable and tired because everything is going wrong and you really really could use a hug even if it means having your best friend witness you in the worst state you've been, which is all you've been trying to avoid? Awful. Will never recover. Who the fuck thought of that.
Stubbing their toe or hitting their elbow? World ending. Devastating. Worst thing to ever happen. Will not survive this
Side note they do try to avoid getting really hurt as much as a normal but reckless person can. They are just either a dumbass or not well sometimes. But overall they are not a huge fan of getting hurt/making a mess. It's just that their pain tolerance is rlly high and the pain goes away kinda quick too.
There are some specific ways they are very much terrified of getting hurt again though.

If this means whats a thing I always end up drawing and coming back to like a drug, I really love drawing characters cuddling! Hugging, face holding, shoulder touching, napping together, carrying— I cannot escape the love for physical touch even in art

It makes people happy

I've been told it would taste sweet! But not too sweet that you get sick of it, which I thinks it's very cute and nice MBSNEM

30. whats something youre proud of about your artstyle?
I think I've gotten a lot better at putting emotion into it, which im very happy about! I'm also proud that my art is pretty... fluid? If it makes sense? A character is never in a straight line, even when just standing their pose follows a curve of some kind. This also allows me to make more fun interactions between them! And gets my friends to ask me for help with some poses. It's very fun!
