hey! so sorry for the ridiculously late reply, but here are my thoughts on these ships:

neuller

what made you ship it?: blame the tumblrinas and ao3 writers of 2014-16. now I'll fess up and say I wasn't into sports rpf during that era BUT. the further I look into them the less Normal I feel about them. they're so so good.

what are your favorite things about the ship?: the way they’ve endured tbh, how we’ve been able to see the development of manuel and thomas’s relationship through the decade. it’s really sweet.

is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship?: i don’t really think so?

what made you ship it?: saw some very cute pictures of them at euros 2024 and was immediately on board. but i REALLY got into them like last may (perfect timing amirite?), read a ton of fic for them. still have Ideas (tm) of my own for them tbh

what are your favorite things about the ship?: everything tbh. and wirtz leaving the bundesliga only made things more Interesting imo

is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship?: once again, don’t really think so though i’ve been a bit OOTL with them as of late so i’m not sure how popular or unpopular my takes would be..

what made you ship it?: you did! now i’ll admit i’m not the Biggest Scholar when it comes to them (yet) but i definitely vibe with it and think they’re a good pairing!

what are your favorite things about the ship?: the lusophone of it all, how giggly they seem together (at least from what i’ve gleaned), it’s all very cute.

Aaaahhh.... These are great questions. But also hard to answer.

Because:

Who starts the tickle fight?

I'd say Daniel. But I can honestly see Carlos doing it too. Yet, I'm going with Daniel, because even though they're both pretty touchy feely people, Daniel would make the first move. And he's an absolute menace. But Carlos would give just as much energy into the tickle fight as Daniel.

Who'd stop the tickle fight?

I honestly think they would end up completely thrashing the room before either of them would even think about stopping. A lamp would probably crash down on either of their heads and they call it truce. (Daniel would still claim victory later on)

Who is more likely to extend a helping hand & emotional support?

Uhhhh.... I have to say both.

Though Daniel would do it more in silence and in private. While Carlos would be more loud and obnoxious (I say that very lovingly) about it. Like; "Hey look! I helped you out!"

Fabinelli is happily married and very much in love with each other. They fell in love with each other at the first sight and still going strong until now. Period.

🤔What’s a story you’d love to write but haven’t even started yet?

Ha I'm sure you will love this one Lef! I think about it often.

Ever since I read Hierarchy of Needs by @toastandvegemite, I've been wanting to write Carlos and Daniel! It's been almost 2 years so who knows if I'll ever do it!

The idea is that Carlos and Daniel reconnect after they've both left F1, end up talking about their dreams and aspirations. One of them is to have children but their respective romantic relationships have not led to any of that. They aren't getting any younger, and both are thinking about adopting. Conversations happen, could they end up adopting together?

[WIP Procrastination Ask Game]

♻️ A scrapped idea for your current WIP

At this point I think I'm gonna just scrap the whole WIP. 😃 I mean, I posted the rewritten version of the first story of the series on 11th April and I drew a fanart to the second story almost a year ago, shortly after posting the original version of this first story and I still couldn't manage to actually write the second one.

And I... I don't really know why. It was everything to me, my first proper cardiophile story, really soft, really sweet kink discovery, first time using a stethoscope, no smut, beautiful, funny and comforting, but... No. It's just doesn't work for some reason.

I don't know if it's because of the pairing (Charlos – this season it's really difficult to be a Charlos fan for multiple reasons) or because I can't really see Charles as a cardiophile now that I'm really in the thing (not like when I started the story and I didn't really think, I just went with my favorite Carlos pairing), or something else but I'm really sad about it because I really wanted to write it, but I only have random scenes/sentences in the document I put there not to forget them.

I'm a proud serial shipper especially when it comes to Daniel.

This ship is not necessarily obvious but I know it can grow on me. Two skinny semi awkward goofy men who survived the horrors of F1 and are much loved across the paddock, sign me up!
