i was DYING to do this reading and wanted to dedicate some real time to it. i've actually received two asks about the zoom call/first meeting, and while they're not exactly the same question, they're close enough that i figured i could answer them together.

one anon asked whether i've ever gone back and looked at the zoom call itself and what seeing each other did to them. another asked whether the feeling was more of a recognition ("oh, there you are") or more of a fascination with someone new and different.

so i decided to pull cards specifically on the energy of that first interaction and what impact it may have had on them.

how h perceived c: bouquet + mountain + bear

the bouquet makes me think h's initial reaction was genuinely positive. c seems to have come across as pleasant, likable, and maybe even a little magnetic. this isn't a card of tension; it's a card of enjoying someone's presence.

but then the mountain completely changes the tone. when it appears in the center, i often see it as something a person can't quite get past, so the feeling here is almost: "i like him, but i can't quite figure him out yet." it's like meeting someone who seems approachable on the surface while their deeper layers remain protected.

then we get the bear, which makes me think h didn't see c as just "the guy from the audition." he seems to have perceived someone with weight, strength, and presence. the strongest feeling i get here is respect. not necessarily instant admiration, but respect. as though there was something about c that made h think: "okay, this person is serious. this person has substance."

how c perceived h: clover + heart + tower

this trio feels more emotional. the clover brings spontaneity and immediacy, while the heart suggests affinity and simply liking someone on a human level. my impression is that c perceived h as someone who was extremely easy to like.

but the important detail is the tower, because it keeps the reading from becoming overly idealized. the tower speaks of independence, privacy, and a certain emotional distance. so what i see here is almost a contradiction: "i like him immediately, but he also seems difficult to fully reach." as you can see, that mirrors h's perception. both seem to have noticed positive qualities in the other person while also sensing layers that weren't immediately accessible.

what stood out immediately: cross + house + key

the heart of the reading, everyone!!! if you showed me only these three cards and asked about the energy of a first meeting, i would say there was a feeling of importance that was disproportionate to the situation. a professional zoom call would usually produce much lighter cards.

instead we have the cross, which speaks of meaning and weight, the house, which brings familiarity and comfort, and the key, which points to significance and relevance. the feeling this gives me is very specific: "why does this conversation feel more important than it should?". the house is especially >>>>interesting<<<< because it often appears when there is emotional comfort and a dynamic that flows naturally. that's why i understand why people bring up the idea of recognition. i wouldn't necessarily say "oh, there you are," but something closer to: "that's funny... it feels like i've known this person longer than i actually have."

the impact the conversation had: snake + book + lilies + moon

this part feels incredibly strong to me because it describes something that continued developing after the call ended. the book gives me a sense of genuine curiosity, that feeling of: "i think there's a lot more here than i was able to see." the lilies suggest that the impression didn't disappear; it matured and gained depth over time. then comes the moon, which is probably the most important card in this entire section because it speaks of what remains in the >>>imagination<<< and continues occupying emotional space long after the event itself has passed. not necessarily obsession, but permanence. the call ends, life moves on, yet that interaction continues existing internally. the snake at the beginning makes me think the feeling was never entirely simple to define, perhaps because neither of them fully understood what they were picking up on at the time (...).

what stands out to me most is that i don't see immediate fascination. i see emotional intrigue. it's as if both of them left that call thinking: "i like this person." but also: "i think there's something here that i don't fully understand yet." and looking at the final trio, my impression is that this question wasn't answered that day. in fact, it feels like it continued echoing in the background for quite a long time afterward.

what h felt when he saw c: ring + crossroads + garden

the ring immediately catches my attention because it speaks of connection, alignment, and a desire to keep engaging. not necessarily commitment, but more a feeling of "i'd like this conversation to continue." the crossroads bring curiosity and possibility, as if h was becoming aware of different directions this interaction could take. then the garden expands everything. i don't see a reserved reaction here. i see someone feeling that this person could easily occupy a space in his world, whether socially, professionally, or simply in his everyday life. the overall feeling is: "i think i'd like to get to know this person better." it doesn't feel explosive. it feels like an opening.

what c felt when he saw h: anchor + lilies + clover

omg, this is very very very calm. the anchor speaks of stability and trust, while the lilies bring comfort, peace, and harmony. the clover keeps everything light and natural. honestly, this feels like someone thinking: "it's really easy to talk to this person." there's no tension, nervousness, or chaotic fascination. if anything, it's the opposite. it's a feeling of unexpected comfort.

what neither of them expressed at the time: bouquet + man + scythe

okay, this is... intriguing. the bouquet speaks of admiration, appreciation, and being pleasantly impressed, while the man in the center makes it very direct: we're talking about the impression they had of one another. then comes the scythe, suggesting something being cut short or kept private. to me, this feels like: "i enjoyed that interaction more than i'm going to let on." not because anything was wrong, but because this was an audition, a professional meeting, and not really the place to stop and process those feelings. i see a lot of restraint here.

what was born from this interaction that would only be understood later: snake + key + heart

the key in the center gives significance to everything around it. the heart speaks of affection, care, emotional attachment, and emotional importance, but it emerges through the snake. here, i don't read the snake as a problem. i read it as complexity. something that wouldn't be immediately understood and would develop over time rather than all at once. the feeling i get is that what was born there wasn't simply an instant friendship or an instant attraction. it was more like: "this person is going to become much more important to me than i realize today." the key reinforces that sense of meaning and significance.

what is so beautiful is the complete absence of conflict, discomfort, or awkwardness. both sides show comfort, openness, and genuine interest. but the final trio suggests that the true impact of that interaction wasn't fully understood that day. if i were looking only at these cards, my impression would be that they left that call thinking: "that was a really good conversation." and only much later realized that it had been far more important than it seemed at the time.
