This lovely salt & pepper grinder set was beautiful, right out of the box. Even empty, the quality was exquisite. The brushed stainless steel mixed with the smooth clear glass felt good in my hands. It does arrive without any salt/pepper fillers, but I was needing to make an order, so I ordered my usual type. Pink Himalayan & blend of colored whole peppercorns. The tops flip off easily to expose the grinders, and they are adjustable to coarse, medium or fine grind. The bottles are super simple to fill, unscrew, pour in, voila! Ready to grind. Have you ever noticed how most grinders are primarily made with cheap grinders that clog up, and lose their sharpness over time? This set has ceramic grinders, they will hold their strength for a long, long time. There is even a ONE YEAR WARRANTY on this set! How about that? They even send along a cleaning cloth, to keep these babies looking good on your table or counter top. They look like the expensive grinders you find at a fine dining establishment. They certainly look better than all the ones I owned. These will replace my other sets. I highly recommend them to chefs, homemakers, and anyone who likes to grind their own salt and pepper.
