My weekly 5x5 found me listening to Get Lonely by #themountaingoats for the first time, and that was a cool album! A couple songs I really dug. 💕 I found a new (to me) #folkpunk band called #Martha and they're exceptional. Definitely a new favorite. 💕 @carmelliburdi's new album "Yes! We're Open!" was so SO good, and right after listening I went back and listened through "Insomnia Slumber Party" because Umbrella Tattoo has been stuck in my head. Big recommend for this artist! 💕 A couple slight mentions: #Cheeseonbread is a phenomenal band and I wanna do a show with them. #TurnerCody's 2018 "Duke of Decline" had some really slick folk tunes on it and was a good second album I've heard of his (the first being the excellent 2013 album "Last of the Big Time Spenders". #ViolentFemmes new album was weird as hell and I loved it. Definitely not a top 5 album for me but some really cool stuff on there. Wanna do a show with them too bc our stuff would work great together. 💕 Can't wait to see what next week brings!
