#bridgetown

Hi I thought it’d be best to update those of you who’ve been interested in my Bridgetown builds. I know what it’s like to wait around for something, so I wanted to be open with you all.

So far, building has been moving a lot slower than I expected this year. I’m realizing part of that might be because I pushed myself to work on Alderbay last year, along with just the unpredictability of life lately and wanting to focus more on creativity than constant building.

I’ve completed about 4 builds so far. Mostly exteriors with one that’s almost fully finished. I have a lot of plans for this project, and part of that includes learning how to convert items so I can really achieve the look and feel I want for Bridgetown.

As for uploads, I did test 2 builds in a separate game with no mods, and both showed up flashing blue. I’m sure it’s because I’ve merged most (if not all) of my CC, so I’ll need to either properly package everything or link the meshes to fix that before sharing.

Next, I’m planning to put together a resource list with links to what I’m using for Bridgetown things like neighborhood deco, completed city neighborhoods for those who just want to jump in and play, and builds that are already available for download. I’m hoping that’ll be helpful while I continue working on mine.
