DIY Christmas Decoration Using Dollar Store Goods And Old Wine Bottles Steps: 1. Buy lights, garland, fake foliage, electric and scotch tape, etc. 2. Splice lights together at base of strands and add extra plugin chord length for reach. (2 strings of lights for regular wine bottle, 3 strings for large bottle) 3. Feed lights into bottle and add accents (i used lace). Make sure to tape chord to back side of bottle. 4. Fold 1 string of lights at 1/3 length and ruffle long end to form random arrays of lights and tape into place. 5. Cut garland into 1 inch pieces and twist each around light strand to form branch-like piece and repeat steps for 2nd branch. 6. Cut foliage pieces off stems leaving enough room to also twist onto branches. 7.
