Stylophone S2 Review + Synth Jam
Electronic synthesizers used to be the only cheap way of actually being able to product electronic music, without having to use live instruments like guitars and keyboards. The difference with the synthesizer is that a voice was not simply programmed to the keyboard; they could essentially be created by the users. For a brief period of time these were the best option to create music without having to hire on musicians and other producers; they were even used live and were perfectly fine. When computers came along they basically took the synthesizer and made it available in a digital form, meaning that large synthesizers no longer needed to be carried and hauled around. They could be formed and developed using a keyboard. [embed width="656"]http://youtu.be/aGV-G643ehU[/embed] Today, we are seeing the trend to go back towards the use of live synthesizer instruments, rather than just computers. Controllers have given live performers and producers a slight ability to actually perform with their computers, but these are still not as genuine as using an actual instrument. The stylophone takes an expensive idea and reduces the size to make it available to anyone, even someone who is on a small budget.  Take note – a lot can be done with such a small tool. http://www.synthtopia.com/content/2013/08/13/stylophone-s2-review-synth-jam/
