“Harold is as old as Camp Half Blood. The story goes of a lake creature---monster with in the barrier, hiding and waiting in the lake for some foolish camper. Some swear he’s a forty foot squid while others swear they saw a seal-like, otter-looking creature that goes around stealing from everyone. One saying, old as time, speaks of Harold once being a camper here but was cursed by Poseidon and forced to become a foul creature bound to the lake for eternity... The stories have changed, truths have been bent, but one thing everyone knows is Harold the anthropomorphic or not monster is real, is alive, and if you don't listen to the warnings you might be his next victim.”
