To say the least, you were exhausted today. Your day had been long and horrible. Two words that shouldn’t be in the same sentence. He didn’t say anything for a good 20 minutes, which was enough time to take your bagel bites out and put them in a pink bowl before going up stairs to set them down. Then you came back downstairs for a drink and you heard him speak up again.

“So what did I do?” Chase asked you.

You set your phone on the counter and grabbed your drink, ignoring him. He was now irritated. “So you gon’ ignore me when I’m tryna be nice?” He asked.
