Found a new picrew maker. Made a mildly traumatised Morwen wearing the crown that she doesn't actually have but cannot escape. It felt appropriately symbolic. (Atticus did her hair, so it's fancy.)

This is closer to what she looks like in the story's present, though her hair isn't braided at the moment. No armour, because she wasn't wearing it when they fled the Village; no blood, because it's been cleaned up. (She feels like the blood is still there though.)

Made her blonde. Technically her hair is pink, but the pink hair in the picrew clashed with her skin, so this is the closest I could get.

EDIT: Now that I found the eye colour slider, Morwen gets more book-accurate eyes. And a night sky background. For funsies.

Two new character visuals have been revealed from the upcoming anime 'Houseki no Kuni' (Land of The Lustrous)

In the images above you can see the Gems known as Morganite (right), described as "Pink, and mischevious" and Goshenite (left), who is "Always in doubt, but gentle"

Working as partners, the two work their best to defending their people

For those who don't know, 'Houseki no Kuni' is a sci-fi manga by Ichikawa Haruko that takes place far in the future, where mankind has been replaced by a new dominant life form - genderless, immortal Gems

Only a handful in existence, the Gems find themselves constantly under attack by the Moon People who want to shatter and turn the gems into jewelry & adornments

The anime, produced by Orange (Black Bullet), will be out in October of this year

Here is Count Peles. Don't @ me about his facial hair; the options weren't great. I discovered the eye colour options on this version, and boy howdy does the yellow add to the overall effect. (There were vampire fangs too, but they only come with a smirk, and it didn't work for him.) He gets fancy robes and a circlet. And also a wedding ring, because he should marry the Lady of the Castle.
