But the fact remains that if they wanted audrey as the D3 villain then just having her crash out because her ex proposes to someone else, is NOT A STRONG ENOUGH MOTIVE!

Its been a YEAR AND A HALF of time between the break up and Ben proposing! Having that be the ONLY reason audrey turns is petty and weak.

Give her more then that! Give her reason to hate Mal enough to go villain! The last time audery and Mal interacted in D1 hinted at friendship. So have Mal gloat after the proposal when audrey comes up to her. Have Mal be the reason that audrey wasn't in D2. That she'd used and abused her influence as Ben's girlfriend to have audrey sent away. Not that audrey was just willingly at the spa.

Another thing having audrey STILL clinging onto Ben after so long is a HORRIBLE message to the kids watching. It basically says that audrey's NOTHING without being Ben's girlfriend. That she has no SELF WORTH or PURPOSE WITHOUT him

S1-2 he is struggling with chosing his duty and honour over Anne, the pain almost kills him, emotional turmoil.

S3 easily chose everything over her making his previous emotional struggles meaningless and make us questioning her importance in his life, because it seems like he doesn't care for her, she is the one always being cast aside like she doesn't matter.

He lies to Silvie by not telling her about being a Comte, his wife, his alcohol problems, basically cheats on her with Anne ( kiss in his office).

He was so angry with her in S1-2 for not telling him about her past, now he does the same but it's much worse because he keeps more serious things away from Sylvie than just being a thief. Sylvie deserves better.

S3 turned him into a freaking hypocrite. Complete character regression.

Well it’s confirmed. Doof and Candance are officially regressing.

Never mind that Candance Against the Universe established that her need to bust her brothers was rooted in intensely low self-esteem

Or that Doofenshmirtz was trying to make his daughter happy and proud by leaving evil behind

We gotta return to the old formula!
