There’s nothing wrong with headcanons, but when they’re taken as canon and you try to “correct” people with them, that’s when it becomes an issue. An issue I've been seeing is all about Harry’s height (which is so unimportant and stupid, by the way). One side thinks he’s short in canon, while the other thinks he’s tall. The thing is, whether he is tall or short is entirely up to you and whether or not you want to follow canon as closely as possible. In canon, it’s more likely that he was of average height or slightly taller than that he was short because it gives us no indication that he remained short as he grew, and in fact, it actually tells us he grew and became as tall as his father, who is described as tall, even if people want to change the text to fit their narrative (to which I don’t understand because Joanne only ever describes characters as tall if she wants them to be tall and for you to know it. If she didn’t want James to be tall, then she wouldn’t have stated him to be such, and instead would have given him the Remus treatment by never stating his height). Even those stating the fact that Harry was malnourished as some sort of evidence as to why it’s just impossible for him to grow or be tall make no sense, given the fact that it’s said to be possible for malnourished kids to grow tall and reach their normal height. Again, nothing’s wrong with headcanons, but when you try to “fact-check” and “correct” people with things that are essentially also headcanons, that’s when you’re wrong and need to just leave people alone.
When Rebecca kicks Uzi in the hallway I noticed that she actually kick the stack of books Uzi was standing on to get to her locker.
Meaning, Uzi is canonically much shorter than her peers of the same age. But even when she kicks the book Rebecca is still not standing directly next to Uzi, and Uzi is slouching. So the height difference would be more like the green lines.
