Kai: That’s mean! You get club points out of it, so isn’t it fine? Besides, it was interesting seeing so many other people from different clubs. Even Enjoji-senpai had fun, didn’t you?
Mike: I guess so. I enjoyed it, for what it was

Mike [weakly]: I hope they’ll let me sit out next time. Our club earns club points consistently, so there’s no reason for us to be in these competitions. Kai can earn points by making curry, so I’d like him to focus on that

Let me just say that the main criticism on Kylo Ren after TFA was that he was a weak villain who was too emotional and was not a suitable heir to Darth Vader. TLJ gives us character development. He's still emotional and dramatic, but that's just par for course when you're a Skywalker. There's growth on his part. In this movie he comes into his own as a villain.
Ok can I ask something? Why does it always seem Ron always thinks he has no chance with anyone? He always sounds so unsure about it.
Consistent characterization? Sorry I’m just not sure how else to describe that honestly. As you mentioned he is always like that, and its not wrong to say. Literally he is always thinks the girl he is crushing on won’t like him back. Its appeared in several of his ships. He thought it with Naoto, who had one of his spirits even tell him to think about it, and the thread with Kairi, she had to flat out tell him that is was him after he guessed Sora, and Axel despite saying she was in love with her knight, and that was only one person. Even his ship with Magilou had that present despite she shared her feelings with a kiss. Even his ship with Ann had him flat out surprised despite the fact they had been on several dates before this. Its consistent that no matter what version of Ron. The aspring hero, The retainer, the novice Counter guardian or the expericed one. He doesn’t think he’s anything special and that’s consistent in his behavior.
