The time of reckoning is approaching and everyone is gathering up for the big day. Or so I thought. It’s safe to say that everyone needs to work things out as well as regrouping before the epic war. Law is fed up with Shinobu and her cries that insulted his men. Well, it could have been worse I suppose. It’s natural to be heartbroken that her only hope is fading away; 20 years for nothing. One day, they will redeem themselves.

Speaking of redemption, in a way, this chapter redeemed Komurasaki and her, now quotable, “rotten” attitude. The same guys who cried back at the Courtesan’s Procession arrived at Ebisu Town and it turns out, they are bad people. The guys are Bingo, Bongo, and Bungo; I see what Oda did there. They have been pulling a scam and rotten tactic to make money by burning a family’s home, make a deal with them, and take advantage with them for what they’re worth at their lowest point. In other words, Komurasaki fooled them with her own dirty trick and rightfully so.

This means she is innocent, even if it was dirty play, but what goes around, comes around. It goes to show you that you can’t judge them until you see the whole picture. It’s like someone accusing a person to be a predator while appearing as an innocent, helpless victim. You don’t know the context, so don’t draw the conclusion immediately until you see the whole story. Case in point, those guys deserved the punishment. Even so, Tonoyasu is willing to help them, even if they are bad. Eventually, this leads to shedding some light on his behalf.

He accepts to help the rebellion and speaks to them like they have been best friends for 20 years. The only problem is Kanjuro and Shinobu have no idea who he is. I don’t know if this is setting up for a plot twist or it’s just establishing Tonoyasu as a real good man. He is Buddha to the village; helping, feeding, and so on. The sad part about him is he sold his daughter to save the family and his daughter’s name is Toko. I should have put the pieces together with their permanent smiles, but it makes sense. Would that mean this is her way to stay positive in this predicament? It would explain his to “make up” for his loss, even if it would never disappear. I like this kind of materials; it’s calming, a bit sad, and hopeful. Besides, the rise of the Rebellion seems to be progressing when everyone least expected.

The scene back at Udon is both fun and funny. Hyogoro showed his badass in the last chapter, and Luffy became his student immediately. Now, the Sumo match has become a training exhibit. Madilloman is still standing, but like his sidekick, Alpaca-something, he becomes a body bag. I laughed throughout the combat since Luffy is like, “Be one with the Haki.” This series barely if not ever has a training arc, so this is some amusing stuff. For every time he messed up, he gets furious and try again. Every single “mistake” pummels Madilloman like a complete fodder and it’s hilarious. For the record, Haki is called Ryuo in Wano; I wonder what that detail would lead to. Everyone is fazed by Luffy’s beat-down show, except Queen, who is just chilling. He’s really asking for it.

I like how Luffy settled with the guard during the night hour. When he doesn’t want anyone to hear his answer, he knocks them with Haki and then proceed to answer. That was badass. Luffy reinforces his pride to defeat Yonko to become Pirate King, so at least we know he’s not shaken-up one bit, even though it is obvious. Still, this would be the growing process for the seed of a new hope.

Raizo remerges through Caribou literally, which is visually funny. Luffy pulls a Naruto in a humorous way, where Caribou begs him to give him a chance for redemption and be part of the crew; Luffy forgives him immediately. Caribou is officially the coolest guy ever. But what makes it funny is the reaction from him because it happened so fast, he doesn’t know if this is a trick. This has to be a mockery on forgiving your enemy this quick. I love it.

On the serious note, Hyogoro begins to see a new hope with old friends reuniting. The time of hopelessness ends now. It’s interesting to note that Udon is only one of the five mines that holds prisoners, and bonus, many of which are rebels, not true evil. Judging by the silhouette, it appear that we are in bound for more characters. I would need a file with names and pictures very soon. The day of breaking out is coming really soon and what better way to raise the hype further than Big Mom’s arrival. It’s all coming down.

Going on the idea that Louis' warning may pertain to the flow of time being different in Elbaf then it is for the rest of the world.

I don't recall if it's stated, though I believe that Yamato's full pilgrimage on the Wano cover serial, traveling out of the Flower Capital, then to each region and back to the Flower Capital, takes place over several days. In 934, it's stated that the trip from Kuri to Udon takes "a rather long" amount of time. Traveling from one region to the next.

Kiku's explanation and Yamato's pilgrimage involving traveling to every region helps with estimates on the amount of time that would take. Relative to when the Straw Hats who are kidnapped arrive in Elbaf in 1126, which occurs two days after departing Egghead, the pilgrimage is still in Kuri. Assuming they are happening concurrently with each other.

The group traveling to Udon depart in the morning and arrive that same day though at night in 940.

So let's say it takes a day of travel to go from one region to the next for Yamato on the covers, and then a night of sleep. That's six full days or so to travel between each of the six regions. Maybe a bit more, maybe a bit less.

The kidnapped SHs arriving in Elbaf happens in 1126, and they have only been there for what they view of as a day.

Yamato is in Kuri in 1126, and has yet to travel to Udon, Hakumai, Ringo, and back to the Flower Capital. The travel time for that would be 3-4 days by my estimate. Which roughly fits the idea that Elbaf time is potentially at a 3-to-1 ratio with the outside world. If it's the case that the events of the covers are happening at the same time as the events in the main chapter.

If Yamato traveling from one region to the next always takes about a day, and assuming that he sleeps overnight in each region once before moving on to the next, the timeline is probably something like this:

The SHs see their post-Wano bounties almost right after descending the waterfall in 1058 and Luffy says his dream to the crew soon after in 1060. All of that happens on the same day. Then we get this "days later" also in 1060, which we later learn is five days after Lulucia is destroyed.

Day one of Egghead - Yamato leaves the Flower Capital before the VP broadcast begins, Tama stays.

Day two of Egghead - Yamato is in Kibi, as Tama listens to the broadcast with Kin and Momo -> Tama travels to Kuri to train.

Day after VP broadcast - Yamato meets up with Tama in Kuri.

Day the kidnapped SHs arrive in Elbaf - Yamato and Tama arrive in Udon, defeat Who's Who and co.

Day after kidnapped SHs arrive from Wano's perspective - Same day from the perspective of the SHs in Elbaf, after parting ways with Tama, Yamato travels to and arrives in Hakumai, enshrines Yasu's sword.

Two days after the kidnapped SHs arrive in Elbaf from Wano's perspective - Same day from the perspective of the SHs in Elbaf, Yamato arrives in Ringo, meets up with his bestie and learns about Moria.

Three days after the kidnapped SHs arrive in Elbaf from Wano's perspective - Yamato returns to the Flower Capital.

Maybe this isn't the case, maybe Tama returns to the Flower Capital after parting ways with Yamato and the Vegapunk broadcast happens while Yamato is in Hakumai or Ringo. Though we don't see Tama in the Flower Capital when Yamato returns. We only see her there during the broadcast throughout all of this.

If Yamato began the pilgrimage before the earthquake, which happens six days before day two of Egghead...

we may have seen it mentioned again during the pilgrimage.

The earthquake happens five days after the SHs leave Wano, before they arrive on Egghead later that day.
