What did she expect from the guy she’s supposed to kill, a headpat? And yet the said guy didn’t want to kill her, but to make her retract these words in the only way he knows - by force. When Kaidou put Yamato in the cave, she just needed to say “Uh-huh, I’m Yamato now!”, even as a strategic lie, heh.
Instead, she chose to be left in a cave with the dangerous samurai and then starve when she could stop it at any moment. Wha..? That’s one stubborn child, I’ll put it this way! They’re both so stubborn and irrational, Yamato is definitely more like her father than she will ever admit :-D
