Out of a telescope Buggy spots the mast of the red hair pirates as well as Shanks reclining in its Crowsnest

A majority of the ship is conspicuously obscured by a mountain with the same size of build.

Shanks Uses Future Sight and starts giggling to himself. Mihawk and Crocodile do the same but are noticeably less impressed.

Mihawk: “He’s really outdone himself with this one” *lets out the sigh of a mother who’s child got into an open can of paint and has been playing around unattended during the 15 minutes she was gone taking a shower*

Crocodile: “There is no way that dumbass used Adam Tree wood on that monstrosity”

Buggy: “DAMN SHANKS, YOU DARE LAUGH AT ME!?!???”

Shanks: “Buggy, it’s been awhile I’ve actually got something to show you!!!” *Waving at Buggy, hearts in his eyes* 🥰

Buggy: “Let me guess, another treasure map? You really think i’d be fooled by the same trick tw—!?!?!?!?” *Eyes Pop out of head, teeth pop out of head, tongue is stretched in ungodly proportions, his face looks like he just found out he was pregnant…with octuplets….and was actively in labor*

The mountain, no longer obscuring the ship shows an Ornate vessel designed by a team of 100 master craftsmen, each at the peak of their skill who took a combined total of 100,000 hours to build carve and decorate the ship. though its design may strike one as flashy it is tasteful and restrained. At its bow is Buggy’s face, carved in the style of Michelangelo out of a piece of solid gold. To compensate for this the rest of the boat is made primarily of Treasure Tree wood (sourced from Elbaph) and Sea Prism Stone (hand carved in Wano). On the side of the hull, embossed in gold lettering is what can only be presumed to be the name of the ship however as it is written in the same ancient text as the Poneglyphs it’s true name is unknown. The Deck is painstakingly decorated with tributes to Buggy, Including but not limited to a marble fountain, a water park, multiple rollercoasters, a hedge maze, two nature preserves filled with Buggy’s favorite plants and animals, 4 Gift Shops, a church which practices a religion that worships Buggy (originally founded by Cross Guild members), a fruit garden, a devil fruit garden, a circus thats open 24/7, a museum, a library, a master suite made exclusively for Buggy’s personal use, furnished with luxuries exclusive to celestial dragons, and so much more. The ship is the size of an island, no IT IS AN ISLAND, complete with its own ecosystem and weather patterns.

Buggy: “H…How???”

So Oda has confirmed that by the end of the year we'll be leaving Elbaf and entering the island only the pirate king has landed at... so laugh tale, right?

...except that there's actually two islands only Roger and his crew have landed on. Laugh Tale and Lodestar, and I find it hard to believe we'll skip Lodestar for a few reasons.

We still don't have all the road Ponegliffs and judging by Oda's words, we haven't met the man marked by flames yet who likely holds the final ponegliff so by that factor alone we're gonna just naturally go to Lodestar

Luffy would likely want to see Lodestar anyways, even if Oda doesn't want to go there he has written Luffy in a way where he's kinda at the mercy of Luffy despite being the author. He considered not doing Elbaf but knew he couldn't steer Luffy away after all

Sanji has Whole Cake, Zoro Wano, Usopp currently is getting Elbaf, and Nami remains without an arc where she is a focus. With Lodestar being the final stop in the grand line (a place Nami is gonna become VERY familiar with as she's going to have to go down every path to make her map) this seems like a perfect time to give her an arc

Urouge, Enel, and possibly Gedetsu have yet to hold a spotlight since their introduction or cover story with this being possibly the last chance to give them that spotlight before Laugh tale and the final war begins

The main point I'll be bringing up here, it would give us a spot to take care of one of the three major antagonistic factions. Cross Guild

Right now we have the Government, Blackbeard, and Cross Guild. I'm going to come out and say despite the decently big support I do not think they have a chance to be the final boss, and will probably be the first to fall

Right now we know we have at least three arcs and thus locations left. Lodestar, Laugh Tale, and probably Marie Geoise as the setting for the final war, and giving each of the arcs their own antagonist group fits pretty well

We know Cross Guild is currently somewhere in the New World and likely following their own log pose, so they'll sooner or later reach Lodestar too now that Buggy has declared he'll search for the one piece.

And when the Straw Hats and Cross Guild inevitably clash I believe so will the Red Haired and Blackbeard pirates on a nearby island.

Why? We recently has gotten snippets of Shanks's backstory. We know about his birth, parts of his childhood, and part of his adulthood. We've heard a lot about Shanks from Loki, we officially have been introduced to his brother, and we started the arc with Shanks.

We have seen a LOT of Shanks which to me I feel Oda is hyping us up for an Shanks focus arc (well, as Shanks focus as we can get)

Shanks vs Blackbeard is also a theory that's been theorized since before I was born probably and I think this is the only chance we'll ever get that fight (Regardless on if Imu or Blackbeard is the final boss)

Shanks's and Buggy's relationship I feel is also something that needs to just be the climax of an arc as both are major characters and what better way than for them to have losses at the same time am I right?

This next part, I'm not sure, how they learn but I think it'll be important to tie the arc together.

While the two crews are recovering after the straw hats have beaten cross guild they hear somewhere that on a nearby island the other two emperors have fought as well and one is on the ground, bleeding out. Luffy and Buggy asking who hoping it isn't Shanks, but alas it is.

Blackbeard obviously won't lose yet, he CAN'T lose to Shanks. The second we see these two fight we will know the outcome immediately.

Shanks's death is something that's been theorized since I assume the introduction of the Yonko and I assume especially once Whitebeard died

Both Luffy and Buggy have to be present for this as they are the most important people to Shanks. I'm unsure what they would say but I'm certain in two things though, one being the outcome of this will be Buggy allying himself with Luffy.

Buggy's character arc has been him failing successfully and I think the next step is for him to lose to the straw hats and lose his best friend only to end up allied with the future pirate king.

Second being I feel Shanks will ask the two to be friends and while I doubt they will be close friends I can see both of them agreeing to set aside past issues if it means fulfilling Shanks wish.

And pretty much that's how I think Buggy's character arc will end, I think he's gonna have a major role in the final war but right now I'm not sure what that role is beyond maybe dealing with Shamrock
