TAMSY'S PAST??

We don't know alot about tamsy but I think he could be a 'royal'. He gives off power and not only because he owns the watchman book but also how he holds himself (idk how to explain this). His right pinky is cut off, that is a punishment called: Yubitsume. Yubitsume (指詰め; 'finger shortening') or otoshimae is a Japanese ritual to atone for offenses to another, a way to be punished or to show sincere apology and remorse to another, by means of amputating portions of one's own little finger. In modern times, it is primarily performed by the yakuza, a collection of Japanese criminal organizations.[1] (found on wiki). Maybe he was someone of high status that lost a successtion war? Also princes don't really get much love from their parents so that's why when he does something to rudo he calls it his act of love. Thinking that he is a prince and he lost (the war), he doesn't want rudo to have the same ending as him and that's why he tries to make rudo stronger? Tamsy kidnapped amo and told himself (not sure) that he is preparing rudo for something(??). But what is Tamsy's connetion with rudo? It's defenetly something with the surebreg's name.
Instead of a prince or duke a saint would match better with tamsy. The backround looks like a big temple? Not sure about that but he is wearing a priest-like outfit. At first glance I thought about something from the middle-east. But really looking at it maybe a Sphereite? A holy knight? He already has his scar then. I read somewhere that churches took orphans to raise them as priests.
His outfit looks a bit like a Sphereite fit. He could have been trown to the pit like rudo. What is his crime?
