When was the last time you gave your body permission to rest? . ☕ . I mean really slow down and check in with every fiber of your being? Where are you aches and pains? Where are you holding tension? Am I holding stress in my jaw or chest? Some times when we are just lounging around we don't even notice the pain we are in, we just lay there and hope our brains turn off for a second. This morning while enjoying my coffee with Ronnie and Athena I felt a subtle pain in my mid back, one that I ignore quite often. It got me thinking, how often to I sit in front of the TV and completely neglect the signs my body is giving me to take care of it. Last night we did some gentle yoga, so it looks like I'll be be needing to do a longer session to alleviate some of this tension. . ☕ . So, that's why this is my challenge for you today. Grant yourself permission to just rest and tune in with your body, see what you need. Be mindful in your stillness. Do you need more healing movement like me?
