Itâs not often that Chanyeol takes a cab. Itâs not often that his car mysteriously breaks down either, but hey, life happens, and thankfully Chanyeol isnât adverse to substituting his mode of transportation. Standing on the nearest busy street to the mechanicâs shop, he starts looking around for passing cabs. There arenât many in this area, and he almost considers pulling out his phone and calling for one instead; but then he sees a yellow taxy with the sign lit and he smiles, holding up an arm and flagging it down. Relief fills him, and when the cab pulls up to his curb, he opens up the sliding van door and climbs in.
âOh--âÂ
Itâs not often that Chanyeol has shared a cab with a stranger. Usually cabs pick up one person and haul them singly to their destination; but perhaps because this area is so sparse of taxis, this driver was kind enough to pull over and help Chanyeol out. Offering a warm smile, Chanyeol sits down on the seat next to the stranger, shutting the door and then reaching for his seatbelt.
âThank you,â he says to the driver, before rattling off the address of his salon. He turns towards the stranger and offers a sheepish smile, âYou can be dropped off first. I donât have any time constraint right now-- sorry if youâre in a rush.â When he finally registers who heâs sitting next to, his smile widens.
Itâs not often that Chanyeol stumbles into the presence of such a cute kid.
