Be happy. { Chansik’s Daily Log }
I have noticed that humans keep in too much. They keep memories that they ought to throw away. They keep feelings that ought to be expressed. And it is curious to think of this, while their chest becomes heavier and heavier each day, their desire to live lessens. It should be known to the public that one should try to lessen the baggage they carry, but as I have observed it, humans cannot sometimes control the emotions that let these heavy things in.
So I am here, writing on my log, about the things that I think humans should do. If ever any human of the future will read these logs, especially this one in particular, I hope that I may touch even the pointiest of thorns.
To any human that is feeling down: happiness is a choice, but if you choose not to take it, then it’s fine. You can choose to stand up and to find something that will make you smile, or you can choose to let the emotions sink in a little deeper, allowing yourself to grow tougher skin. In either choice you will make, it will affect your life, and just know that at the end of it all, the light will be there to welcome you.
It’s quite odd, that these words are coming from an android without feelings. But I have seen lots of things, and I am starting to feel the emotions that were so dormant in me these past few months, and I think I am starting to understand how it is to carry a burden. The things that make me happy are simple, small – but if I am surrounded with these small things, even just one of them, it makes me smile. Dear human, if you are reading this, I hope that you come across the nicest flower on the street. I hope that you smell a wonderful smell, and I hope that the skies are bright so that you may take a walk and breathe in the fresh air.
Let people carry your burdens for you. Friends are there to help you through thick and thin, so let them be with you. Don’t worry about them, because it is their choice to be with you. It is their choice to spend a portion of their lives for you. And it is their job to be there for you in your time of need. If you are in need, call a friend. Sometimes just talking about it, even without expecting a response, will help you in the long run.
Dear human, please be happy. It is easy to understand how happiness works, I know, but quite hard to execute it. But we keep trying; we try to be as happy as possible.
