It was so hard to choose just one sim, but i figured i'd do this for Aria since i'm having so much fun with him atm!
Aria bounced between various foster families growing up and was eventually taken in by my sims Deryn and Xinyi. He initially didn't get along with Xinyi at all which was so surprising to me! He disliked her bubbly cheerful personality, it broke my heart (╥﹏╥)
Aria often babysits Sera who is Deryn's little niece. They love spending time at arcades with Aria's best friend Mable! Sera reallyy looks up to him and Aria treasures her like a younger sibling.
Aria first love Nathan passed away in an accident when they were 15 years old. I don't see him being able to move on from that for quite a while. He's also still in the closet and currently only out to Mable.
He reallyy dislikes public displays of affection.. too bad for him Deryn & Xinyi are my freakiest most affectionate couple ever..
I initially wanted Aria to give culinary school a shot. That is until he burnt his foster parents kitchen down and i had to learn the hard way how terrible of a chef he'd make ( ꩜ ᯅ ꩜;)

Firebenders don't burn. Especially not Royal firebenders. Zuko has never been burned before. Father's hand is on his face. Zuko is burning.
One of, like, two angst pieces I've ever written and the first one I wrote for myself and just. Okay. Okay I saw this artwork and it gave me the most brainworms and I am simply so very, very proud of myself for this. It's just so good and so devastating. Probably my favorite fic I've ever written, tbh.

So I've noted before that I write better when it's prompted by something/is for a friend, and this one was written for my friend @nalivaa based on this artwork of hers (it's ADORABLE, you should go check out all of her art if you're into midam), and I just. It's sweet and adorable and I like it. :)

Or, dragon shifter Thorin comes in from the winter storm, reminisces with Bilbo about their first meeting, and they're both subsequently very soft with each other. And Thorin is a little shit who is incapable of not teasing his hobbit.
Last one - this one was written for bagginshield week 2023, I believe, and I like it because I like dragons and mushy feelings, and this delivers on both counts. Also, it's nice that the story fits together, y'know?

I think I've done some random fact asks/tag games before but it was ages ago, so I'm probably going to repeat myself.
My don't have a favourite animal. I've never been able to choose between a Wolf, a Fox, or a Raven. And as for Domestic animals I adore cats, but also like dogs and snakes.
When I was about 5 years old, I wanted to be a ballet dancer, but couldn't due to a condition in my legs I was born with called Congenital Talipes. So I decided I was going to be a book illustrator. That lasted about a year, when I realised I couldn't draw stick figures (I mean, I was an impatient child!) so then around the age of 7 I decided I was going to write books intead and that passion and desire hasn't wavered in the last 26 years.
I ADORE long hair. On men, on women, straight, curly, whatever, I think it suits everyone. And because of this I have to be super aware of it because when I'm writing up a character I have a tendancy to give a majority of my characters long hair.

My big WIP at the moment is the sequel to this massive SGA fic I wrote years ago. I’ve basically got the first half written and the second half outlined. I just need to start writing it, but I’m finding myself drawn to other projects I’ve had on the back burner for a long time.
