Difference of Opinions

((Is it just me, or does this feel like a Magi scenario of a clash of beliefs?))

Somehow I had a feeling something extreme would happen after Korosensei told them about his past, and unfortunately it turned out to be true as the results are reflected in the newly divided mindset of the class.

While one group feels that they could take the time that they have left to find a means of saving their teacher’s life rather than killing him, the others feel that they should see this mission through to the end and fulfill their teacher’s request in assassinating him so that he wouldn’t destroy the earth; or die by the hands of another.

And the one who strongly expresses this resolve for this group is none other than Rio, who feels that they should honor the bonds they’ve formed with their target rather than going a different direction that would seem like a slap in the face to him after everything they’ve been through.

Looking at these two factions you can’t help but see that they kind of represent two people who were definitely on opposite sides; those who are for the assassination (Korosensei) and those who are against it (Aguri).

Knowing Aguri, she would want to find a way to save him, like she did in the lab; whereas Korosensei had resided to the fact that there was only one option for him and nothing more.

Though there could still be a third neutral party to come up like Karma, who seems to observe this situation rather than jumping in right away, odds are he and those who are still caught in between the opposing factions may sway to one side as they don’t have the luxury of time to remain at a standstill for long.

I’ve Got Your Back

Sensing that his partner is starting to get a bit uneasy as he witnesses how effortlessly the Grand King advances each teammate according to their strengths and weaknesses, Hinata decides to return the favor from a similar situation when he was feeling a little down, reminding Kageyama that as long as he has him by his side he’ll be the strongest…. ((Ugh, just get married you two.♡))

Although Kageyama fails to show appreciation in the form of a more welcoming manner ((as usual)),

more than likely it was the sort of thing that he needed to hear to help steady his nerves, which is clearly seen by their opponents who can’t help but admit that what the chibisuke-first year said was rather cool.

((He is his little Sunshine Pomeranian after all~♪))

Ask and You Shall Receive

Kyotani’s not the only one showing some remarkable progress as Kindaichi also begins to show a little more initiative when he takes Oikawa’s earlier advice to heart and ((more or less)) bluntly expresses his need for some changes in the toss that he sends him during a previous practice session.

Not surprisingly he takes his request into consideration, but that doesn’t necessarily mean he’ll alter how he runs things as the team’s setter right away.

While it’s important for them as the control tower to communicate and adapt to each player’s desired toss, it’s also equally important to know when to do it so that they can continue to grow from there; much like how he waited until just the right moment to display Kunimi’s strengths in their last run in with Karasuno.

And as someone who once played alongside him as a teammate (and against him as an opponent) in the past, Kageyama can clearly see that Kindaichi’s dynamics have improved since then, which puts the pressure on him as Karasuno’s Setter.

He may be trash, but Oikawa definitely knows his stuff when it comes to his role on the court; even if he doesn’t have the exceptional talent that Kageyama possesses.
