I'm just..quite sure that Kiku is going to die and that breaks my heart.
Kanjuro is first seen goading Kiku and in the fight panels, his expression is quite calm and confident, indicating that the fight goes well. Kiku's expression is of course blocked by her helmet, so can't say much about that.
Then comes the last page with the juxtaposition of Kiku and Momo and punches you in the gut. I see it as Kiku crying over her inability to protect her liege as she bleeds out, especially when coupled with Kaido's statement over Wano's future.
I really hope Kiku makes it, but I don't think that will happen. Especially with all the theorising that's been going on online regarding the fate of the akazaya during and after Wano, as well as the significance of the coming battle.
