I had to go find an alternate translation for this SBS because the wiki one is just...wrong...but I’d kind of alluded to this before in that the mouse was symbolic to show us that Sanji hasn’t changed as a person just because he’s unlocked some new abilities.
And the added confirmation that the whole ‘farewell, women’s bath’ thing was in fact true because he can only become ‘invisible’ by moving super fast at least gives me a little hope that we won’t have to revisit that again...please...

I’m once again going to ignore the foreshadowing (or like...anti-foreshadowing?) in Izo’s words but he’s echoing what Usopp said about surviving and telling them to believe in Luffy at the same time.
And yeah, it’s not really hard to see that Usopp’s way of thinking is probably in direct contrast with the Scabbards but again we get the recurring idea in the manga that finding a way to survive is what’s important and that instead of arguing which one of them should die here they should both try to make it out alive.
