Jokes aside, it is nice that Kyoichiro actually has a moment of introspection here. He did not HAVE to take this to heart—he could have just went "hmph, your kindness and naivety made you do something completely unnecessary" and continued business as usual. But instead he recognizes the sincerity behind it, and it's devastating! He literally can't handle the fact that Taiyo, someone who he's been so cruel and unfriendly toward, did something so nice for him (especially after Kyoichiro suspected the worst and tried to kill him for doing that nice thing). It goes to show that while Kyoichiro might be a bit of an asshat, he does have a conscience and sometimes it bites him where it hurts.

Lmaoooo I forgot that Taiyo hasn't been privy to all the drama. Ayaka has literally done nothing but slander him for the past several days and he's just like "Idk what's going on but I'm sorry I made you feel bad :("

And the truth comes out! I love that no one saw this coming, because why would they? When you stop to think about it, this was an insane thing for Taiyo to do. It's one thing to replace your brother-in-law's favourite tea without him knowing, but to track down drug dealers, bust multiple supply chains, and lie to your wife's face for a solid week just to quietly replace the supply without anyone seeing you? Absolutely insane! Nobody in their right minds would go through so much effort for something that is, in all honesty, a courtesy kindness. And that's why I love Taiyo, because he wanted to put in the effort. He knew it was a small thing, but he wanted to show his appreciation and this was a good opportunity to do so, so he just—did it!

Also, I love Momiji's expression asjkahdkj. She's clearly been through this song and dance WAY too many times already.

Awwwww Kaoru noticed Mutsumi at the door and knew what she was thinking! He probably saw the shellshocked expression on her face and immediately went "oops, this looks pretty bad. We'd better perform damage control." That may be why he and Momiji went directly to the Yozakura mansion with the tea—if they showed up together to explain the whole thing, it wouldn't look like Taiyo was lying to cover himself when he explained it to Mutsumi.

Kyoichiro has ANOTHER traditional Yozakura murder weapon?? Where is he keeping these things. Does he have a warehouse somewhere where he just pulls out whatever he feels like using that day? "Hmmm, I'm feeling perky this morning, I think I'll take the Meat Buster out for a whirl!"
