if his little one has chronic pain, he’d share all his favorite pain relief remedies that he’s gathered over the years, tucking them in with lots of pillows and stuffies to help support their neck or back or legs…he knows what it’s like trying to hide your pain levels, so he catches on very quickly whenever his regressor tries to pretend like they’re not hurting.

would never touch his little one’s aids without their permission, but he has brought them to the lab before to make them more comfortable or effective for his regressor

comfy days spent in bed are a must, but he’ll make sure to help his little one eat and drink and go to the bathroom, too

he takes all of his regressor’s symptoms very seriously, whether they try to brush them off or are having a full blown tantrum about it

tries to come up with activities to do and toys to play with that don’t necessarily require fine motor skills or extensive standing/walking

sometimes he has to take a break when he’s out with his little one to sit or adjust his brace, but it happens the other way around, too. they’ve both had to cancel or end plans early for one disability-related reason or another, and he refuses to have his regressor feel bad for it. (he has a harder time when it’s him breaking the plans)

very good at coaxing his little one to take their medicine. he is not above bribery.

any doctor’s appointments or trips to the hospital result in a treat for being so brave!

it always breaks his heart to see his little one in pain or upset, but he’s good at helping them process any big feelings they might have about their disability, and it helps both of them to know that they’re not alone

my problem isn't ppl hc'ing him as a regressor — I think its very cute and I like the hc! — my problem is the people who are doing it (unknowingly or not) bc he's disabled and they are infantalizing him.

Caregiver Viktor Moodboard !!

The lab is quiet today. Jayce ran out earlier to pick up a delivery for his mother, leaving Viktor to himself to figure out where their most recent experiment went wrong. Viktor has been standing in front of the same equation for three hours, changing measurements and variables to no avail, when he hears the doors to the lab creak open.

He turns to see Mel Medarda standing just in front of the closed doors. Her eyes move across the scene in a search for someone.

“Counciler Medarda,” Viktor says in a semi-annoyed greeting. They don’t often see eye to eye. “Jayce is out right now.”

Instead of responding, Mel blinks owlishly and rocks back and forth on her feet. She’s holding her heels in her hands, leaving her feet bare, and her hands are clasped in front of her.

Viktor pauses, cutting off the very snippy remark he was prepared to make when he really looks at Mel. She’s not standing tall and regal as she normally does. Her shoulders are dropped like she’s two seconds away from curling in on herself. Her eyes dance across the various tools and pieces left lying around by Viktor and Jayce, intrigued but also scared.

📜 they have prank wars against each other and include you of course as a shared ally to help with both sides' pranks

🛡️ never make you choose a favorite, love sharing you and taking care of you together

Ambessa? Treats it like a do over and loves to hold Mel despite it being hard for her to get over that mental block initially.

Jayce? Thinks Mel is the most adorable little one he’s ever seen and finger paints with her. He’s horrible at it and it always sends a shy Little Mel into giggles when he shows her his painting.
