   Checking out new exhibits was always something that interested Saima. Although in their own homelands, they were constantly comparing what was seen to what they had known from experience, they were always interested in exploring other lands. Other experiences that they may not have been exposed to due to having limited travel at the time.

It was during such an exhibit that they had noticed a woman who seemed to be really examining some of the details, the stories that were being told here. They didn’t want to disturb her work necessarily - but did wanted to get her thoughts on this.

So they opted to just observe the area she was examining, taking in the tales that were below a series of objects from what had to be centuries ago.

Fey was perched on a tree, resting after a long day of causing mischief and havoc. It was a cool night and the cold air made her pixie like wings twitch. The sprite let out a sight before looking up to the night sky, for some reason star gazing always seemed to calm her down. But her attention was drawn to something on the ground below.

Arrie rarely had time. Between handling her two jobs and giving her son all the attention she had to offer, a trip to the museum had hardly ever crossed her mind. At least until Malik asked if they could go to one.

Planning for it had been hard, but finally, the two of them were under high-domed roofs, her shoes softly clicking against the marbled floor as she held her 4 year old in her arms. 

“Où veux-tu y aller d’abord?” Arrie asked her boy.

“Je veux voir les chevaliers!” he replied enthusiastically. 

They were words he'd heard before and words he tried hard to live by. Sometimes it worked and sometimes it didn't. But life as an immortal was lonely unless someone managed to find another like them. In all honesty, it was why he tended to stay with other warlocks. While their personalities might have clashed the fact they were all immortal meant they could enjoy that life without worrying about watching those around them slowly grow old and die. They also tended to throw amazing parties and Magnus would never turn down a good party. But something told him she wasn't accepting the fact she had lived all of those in her life. He knew it wasn't easy and it was why he'd offered up his friendship in the hopes he might be able to help. "I know it's something that anyone can say, but as someone who's lived as long as I have it is the best way to handle it."

𝐇𝐄𝐑  𝐅𝐈𝐍𝐆𝐄𝐑𝐒  𝐀𝐑𝐄  𝐆𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐋𝐄  as  they  brush  dark  strands  of  hair  from  the  queens  face  ,  lithely  hooking  the  locks  behind  her  ear  as  they  lay  upon  mary’s  bed  ,  each  facing  the  other.        the  other  girls  have  said  their  goodbyes  ------------  but  this  ?            THIS  WAS  THE  HARDEST.         they’re  too  young  to  place  their  feelings  ----  best  friends  &  nothing  more.         still.          as  lola  lay  there  ,  grey  eyes  roaming  over  mary’s  face  ,  there’s  something.               ❛     I  THINK  YOU’LL  LIKE  THE  CONVENT  . . .    make  lots  of  new  friends  . . .   you  won’t  miss  me  a  day.        &&  then  it’ll  be  time  for  us  to  go  to  the  french  court.          it’ll  be  . . .   as  quick  as  blinking.    ❜

  There’s something about the precarious angle of this stairway that only seems to interest Saima all the more. Sure they are being about as careful as they can be - but it doesn’t mean they aren’t going to try to get as much out of the view.
