Aomine huffed as he laid across the couch, taking up all the space and setting his feet in Kagami's lap. He was too prideful to say anything about what he wanted, so he just decided to annoy Kagami instead.
"What the -" His boyfriend glared at his feet. "Get your smelly feet out of my lap, I'm trying to do something here," he grunted, continuing to scroll on his phone.
"You're just staring at your phone. So what if my feet are in your lap?" Aomine grumbled as he grabbed a basketball magazine from behind his head and started to flip through it. Maybe this time he would actually read it instead of looking at all the pictures.
Kagami snorted and shoved at Aomine's ankles, trying to get his legs away. "You're acting like you don't do the exact same thing every day," he replied, his tone condescending and Aomine shoved him with a foot. "What do you want, Daiki? I'm -" Kagami growled and lifted his head, but when he actually looked at his boyfriend, he knew what he wanted.
His expression turned fond, and he giggled softly. "God, you're such an asshole. You shoulda just said something if you wanted cuddles so bad," he huffed, standing up and holding a hand out.
Aomine, blushing softly once his true intentions had been exposed, begrudgingly took Kagami's hand and walked with him to their bedroom. Kagami laid down and opened his arms, making the taller crawl into them. He immediately wrapped his boyfriend up in his warm embrace, kissing his forehead.
"God, you're so adorable," he murmured, rubbing the other's back before letting a hand rest on Aomine's ass.
"Hey," Aomine barked, and Kagami moved his hand. "Not right now. Cuddle time," he huffed, and his boyfriend laughed before nodding. Their long legs tangled together beneath a thin blanket, and Aomine closed his eyes, his expression easing into one of peace, his frown lines disappearing. He loved when they cuddled, though he would never admit it unless he was forced to. It always made him feel so happy and relaxed. He knew Kagami liked the effect it had on him too.
"You're so cute, Daiki, oh my god," he heard, and he blushed more, hiding his face in Kagami's chest. "You're so precious - look at you, hiding your face all shyly…"
Feeling a tug on his hair, Aomine lifted his head, gazing at the other and sighing happily when he was kissed. "Leave me alone, Taiga. I'm allowed to enjoy things," he mumbled, and Kagami smiled against his lips. "Shh… let me cuddle you and nap. I'm tired."
Nodding, the redhead ruffled blue hair before holding him closer. "Alright, do whatever you want, cutie," he said, and Aomine huffed before curling closer. They laid together comfortably, until Aomine dozed off, and Kagami just ran his hands through his hair.
Then, quietly, he said, "I love you". Maybe someday he would say it to his face when he was conscious. But for now, he just smiled and let his cute boyfriend get some rest. It was one of those things didn't need to be said just yet.
