Hopefully this is a little harder than the last one!
I don’t know if anyone has written a school orchestra AU for Dead Boy Detectives, but I’m curious what people think would be a good instrument fit for each of the characters. First or second violin? Cello? Viola? Any woodwinds or brass? Who is whose stand partner, or belongs to a different section yet sits nearby? Any harp or piano soloists? Who’s a section leader, and who’s the concert master? And who’s the conductor?
Peter Lorre is a well-built cello
My copy of "World Noir Vol 3" arrived, a 3-disc DVD set that includes Peter Lorre's directorial debut, "The Lost One (Der Verlorene)."
"...a guy like a well-built cello, elegant in the curves, carrying away with each tone; touching, charming, human." -Christian Ferber
(Above quote from the exclusive booklet included in the box set, from an article by Stephen D. Youngkin.)
I love cellos. I used to regularly play the cello. I have a cello in the house right now. For Peter Lorre to be compared to a cello is delightful and exquisite and resonates truly. ❤️❤️🤗
Here's the full quote, which mingles in Peter's character, Rothe:
Orchestra be like
Violin
Cello
Viola
Bass
