ok so who's the viola hater who took away the stamitz viola concerto from imslp. HELLO thats like if we took away your bach. all of it. because the stamitz was ALL THAT WE HAD 😭😭😭

i just think chamber music is so so so beautiful because each part has a voice and will always have a voice. no matter how small, it needs to be heard. but at the same time, everyone in the group knows which part has the main voice and gives room for that to be heard first. it allows the audience to have a grasp of the main story while giving small details, its just written so smartly and shows how smart the audience is. it's so complex (so many different voices) while balancing being simple and obvious (all the voices are clearly heard)
