So, I've been thinking about S3 (as one does) recently (all the bloody time) and wondering about some potential inconspicuous (or so our Ineffables probably like to think) collaboration of these two idiots to avert the End of the World™️ (again!).
Please keep in mind that I try to stay spoiler-free for S3, so if you already know something in that vein, please don't mention it here! Thank you. 😘
Anyway, these musings reminded me once again that my LEGO babies have wanted to do a little reenactment of that famous bus ride scene from S01E01 for ages! I've been designing and collecting various parts over a long time, but never got around to actually make all the necessary modifications to my London bus to set the scene up. Until today. Wahoo! 😊
I'll add a little BTS shot of their outfits and accessories. This is one of my all-time favorite Crowley looks that really would have deserved more screen time! Rawr. I'm also amused by all the little references in Aziraphale's copy of his celestial observer (rare old books, a serpent statue, a new galaxy, lol).
Psst, I'm aware that Crowley's sunglasses aren't exactly a perfect match, but they're the closest I have, so please just enjoy Aziraphale's most nice and accurate reading glasses instead! 😉
I'm just happy to have accomplished this little photo shoot this weekend, because there are a couple of very busy weeks/months coming up and I just wanted to have a bit of fun with my LEGO babies before those taxing times. Also, I'm still waiting for some custom printed parts for my 1960s Ineffable Wives. Fingers crossed they'll turn out well. 🤞

I feel like we as a fandom don't talk enough about Aziraphale's newspaper in this scene.
I feel like this is totally made up by Aziraphale. I considered that it might actually just be a heaven newspaper, but... well just look at those articles:
"Archive of rare old books discovered in attic in Oxfordshire"
"Good Deeds Pay Off for Local Man"
"New serpent statue revealed to the public" (Someone's thinking of Crowley being statuesque!)

Sadly the Celestial Observer has been on a sort of hiatus, but I must say that was partly my fault. I did not prioritize this site because my personal and work life have been extremely busy and I know thats true for quite a few good omens fans with Finales other than GO3 coming up in May.
In a week or two I should be able to Make more updates soon and make this lovely website a priority and hobby I and my co-editor enjoy again :D
I would greatly appreciate to collect some beautiful art and opinions on GO3 and all of Good omens before I can fully return!
I will make a note that when the website comes back it will be very spoiler heavy, just a warning to all, I will make this warning every post as well.

open call for good omens fan project: celestial observer + infernal times
go read this post and reblog by @highseas-swede and @ineffable-suffering, featuring the pictures below, about the newspapers that crowley and aziraphale respectively appear with in good omens!!!
these could be genuine publications by heaven and hell respectively; alternatively, the appearance and contents might be subconsciously thought up by crowley and/or aziraphale. either way, i thought it might be fun to try and create a fan-made version of these newspapers ourselves! our approach with regards to these two theories can be agreed upon once interest is gauged - maybe one paper can be thought up by one of them and miracled into being at the last minute, and the other can be published by heaven or hell itself.
contributions could be inspired by:
the headlines and photos on the newspapers that appear in the show
our own ideas, bearing in mind what we know about heaven and hell in the good omens universe and their respective relationships with earth
attempts to mimic/parody the content of the guardian/the observer and the times, the real newspapers that these fictional newspapers are referencing
a combination of the above
would anyone be interested in contributing to the writing and/or the visual design of this project? i’d also love it if someone helped me oversee it. if you’re up for it, please respond to this post in your preferred way and i'll work on getting the wheels in motion!
