I made this like, a few days after modding gliders back into palworld. And then I made this the next day
I can't imagine the rationale, the human logic, that would compel anyone on this world to order such litigation. There's no protecting of anything there, it's just taking something away from people because they're having fun without your permission. This isn't even "protecting their income", everyone knows Pokemon was always going to make a trillion dollars. It's a new kind of lawfare where bullies like Nintendo take aim not at competitors but at players who don't buy the "correct" games, undermining their ability to have fun because it isn't the "correct" fun. Not only that, but they take advantage of their own fans. For not being "loyal" to Nintendo, and buying the "enemy" product, you get a huge part of what makes that game unique and fun taken away on the flimsiest of grounds. And for being "loyal" and buying the "correct" game, you get a game that is so rushed, so poorly funded, it looks like an experimental beta build rather than a finished product. Someone clearly wants to make a memorable and amazing experience in this genre--in fact, many people--but Nintendo would rather cut funding and weaponize law than let that happen. It's disgusting. What's even more disgusting, is people on social media keep fighting Nintendo's war. Palworld fans shaming Pokemon fans for buying ""slop"", and Pokemon fans attacking Palworld for "being a soulless ripoff" If you bother to pay attention you'd know that Palworld is not a soulless ripoff, it's one of the most creative and original games I've ever seen, and ZA isn't slop, it's a game that had a lot of passion and effort put in, but was starved of funding and development time. The only people who should be ashamed are the rats at Nintendo who underfund Pokemon games, rush them to sell merchandise, and then bludgeon anyone who tries to even tangentially compete in order to maintain market dominance. And they didn't even put Flygon in the game. How am I even supposed to play that?!? Apologies if you just wanted cute pictures but I was going to post this rant sooner or later and figured why not do it with the art that is most topical to it
To celebrate Palworld being released 2 years today, I did a collab piece with some other 3D artists, and we definitely planned on it from the beginning, and didn't scramble the thing together in the week prior!
