You set your book down and before you can greet him with a smile, he’s kissing you and you’re kissing him back.
Somehow you know what he’s thinking, and you just kiss him and kiss him because you know that tomorrow he could die. So for now, you hold him and focus on the now and how it feels to have him in your arms.
