Hot Sauce
This is a super easy, super spicy hot sauce that’s sure to get your tongue tingling. This is a fairly high level of heat, but the Naga chillies can be substituted with something milder if you can’t hack it.
Ingredients:
6 Naga ghost chillies (dried are easier to find) 2 Tomatoes 1 Red pepper (or a small amount of red pepper paste) 1 clove garlic ½ small brown onion ½ cup cyder vinegar ½ tsp sea salt 2 tbsp olive oil
Method: Dice all solid ingredients together, make sure to use the whole chillies (seeds and all) for maximum punchiness. Add them, along with the liquid ingredients to a food processor or blender, and blitz until the texture of the sauce is fine. Add extra salt to taste. This couldn’t be simpler and should provide one large jar of hot sauce. The sauce will keep relatively well due to the acidity provided by the vinegar. Soaking the jar in boiling water before storage should help with this.
Best served with pizza, in a sandwich, or in fried rice.
