Wednesday is a solid C+ effort. But it just...I'm sorry. The cast is good, but not with this material. I got three episodes in and I am bored and frustrated. I'm probably gonna jump ahead just to see the Fester episode, because the stupid psychic doppelganger witch whatever plot crap doesn't matter. It doesn't. It was exhaustingly blasé when Vampire Diaries did it 7 years ago. If you want me to care about this kind of schlock, you better pull a Charmed and give me a bunch of charismatic actors portraying compelling relationships. Otherwise this is network television-level white noise, and my Baby Boomer parents don't even care about that junk mail anymore.

Netflix. For God's sake. The money you spend. Buy A+ with it. Otherwise I will continue to leave your platform after watching Seinfeld to watch more compelling content on Tubi, a free service with ads.

Seriously. Just saw a documentary over there about Finnish cave-divers going back to a deadly Norwegian ice cave to retrieve the bodies of their friends. It is from 2016 and it is called Diving Into the Unknown. Check it out.
